We are accepting residence reservations for current and future openings. We hope you’ll call, stop by unannounced, just come, we would welcome your visit and thoughts on how we can make The McLellan a real home, mine and yours.

Studio Home Apartments:
The McLellan has 3 studio residences located on the 1st floor of the building. This floor faces Union Street, with wonderful morning sun. These sweet studios have private patios that will provide easy access to the walkable neighborhood of The McLellan: a neighborhood that is a stone’s throw from The Union Street Cafe, The Charles Memorial Library, several churches and grocery stores and of course the famous wide sidewalks of historic Brunswick, Maine. Additionally the studios are close to the main kitchen, whose doors will be open and the smells of dinner cooking, pies baking and maybe some needed prep help! There is an opportunity for a 3rd floor Studio, so if you would like to be in the tree tops…let me know soon! The studio residences will have a bath with a large shower, a tempting tea kitchen with an under the counter refrigerator, sink and microwave, a pleasant area to relax after walking downtown and a private sleeping area.

1 Bedroom Home Apartments:
The McLellan has several different styles of 1 BR residences on all three floors. They range in size from 600 to 800 SF and come with a variety of different options. The 1 BR shown here is what we like to call our “sweet suite”, no two are exactly alike and each provides for a cozy and safe”cruising” home! There are corner homes with 11 windows that fill the apartment with sunlight and life energy. There are uniquely angled homes with large open living areas. Some of the 1 BRs come with patios and one even has its own private deck! All have their own kitchen, and stackable washer and dryer units. . The units boast as much closet space as we could possibly fit, and fireplaces to give them that warm homey feel and glow.
1 BR Suite Residence 100: (Currently Occupied)
First floor, 550 SF, private patio onto Union Street off living room, close to Union Street Entrance and Corner Tavern, fitness center, cinema and den. L-shaped kitchen, stackable washer and dryer, three closets, bath with fire foot shower, fireplace, and optional additional floor to ceiling window.
1 BR Suite Residence 103: (Currently Occupied)
First floor, 590 SF, private patio onto Union Street off living room, close to Owner’s residence and elevator. Large ADA bathroom with ADA shower, and all other amenities: fireplace, stackable washer and dryer, closets and shelving.

Second floor, 780 SF main entrance off of the parking lot, close to mailboxes, meet and greet area, garages. Eleven windows. Full sun all day. Three closets, bath with 5 foot shower, full kitchen with under the counter washer and dryer and island with seating, large great room with fireplace.

This is one of The McLellan’s best!

2 Bedrooms Home Apartments:
The McLellan has some exceptional 2 BR homes all with stackable washer and dryers and full kitchens. This 1000 SF plus 2 BR, 2 Bath home is spacious and manageable at the same time. It has some original features to it that will be the envy of the town, with a private deck and private hallway & patio, with additional floor to ceiling windows to grab the natural sunlight, plenty of closet space and plenty of space to find your own quiet niche all to yourself. There are additional 2 BR homes with one bath and each of these have special touches too, with a private patio or 8×10′ deck, close to the mailboxes and close to the heartbeat of The McLellan.

Though we may not have an immediate opening in the Unit of your choice, please do not let this discourage you from calling and looking into how we are doing senior living differently. We are a new concept in senior living and building it fresh with the help of all of you. Occupancy is a very fluid experience. I would encourage you to come take a look. See if you can picture this living experience and perhaps put a backup reservation in for a specific residence or add to our waiting list for the future. Either way, you will be a part of The McLellan and are welcome for dinner, a stop into the fitness center, or just a friendly place to sit and be a part of the downtown and friends. Whatever age we are at, during our ever growing and changing lives, whether we are picking a bunk at summer camp or our first college dorm or our first apartment away from home, we all get focused on looking at the exact space and forget to look around and realize what else is home. The McLellan is not just where you sleep, it is the whole building…all of it is yours and right outside your door, all of the walkable neighborhood of Brunswick, Maine is yours as well!
